Katharina Danwitz: Professional Legal Services Portal in Germany
2024Katharina Danwitz is a German law firm providing expert legal representation in Family Law, Criminal Law, Inheritance Law, and Immigration Law. The website serves as a professional digital office, allowing clients to learn about the attorney's expertise, read educational legal content, and request consultations remotely. The project's primary goal was to create a minimalist, high-trust interface that reflects the seriousness of legal practice while remaining accessible to individuals seeking help. We focused on a sophisticated dark-and-light contrast, clear service categorization, and a strong emphasis on the attorney's personal brand and track record.

What has been done on the project
Hero Section & Service Entry Points
The homepage features a professional office interior as a background, establishing an atmosphere of stability and competence. We implemented a grid of four primary service categories with custom line-art icons: Familienrecht (Family Law), Strafrecht (Criminal Law), Erbrecht (Inheritance Law), Ausländerrecht (Immigration Law). Each block acts as a direct link to detailed service descriptions. A prominent "Beratungstermin anfragen" (Request consultation) button is placed in the hero area to facilitate immediate lead generation.
Attorney Profile & Expertise
To build personal trust, we developed a comprehensive "Über mich" (About me) page. Professional Summary: Highlights the attorney's experience since 2007 and her broad spectrum of legal services. Interactive Timeline: A "Lebenslauf" (CV) section uses a vertical timeline to showcase her academic background at the University of Bonn, clerkship at the District Court of Bonn, and official admission to the bar. Personal Branding: High-quality professional photography is integrated with direct contact shortcuts (phone, email, social media) to humanize the digital presence.
Legal Blog & Educational Hub
We integrated a sophisticated "Blog" section to support SEO and provide value to potential clients. Content Grid: Articles cover current legal topics such as "The new Cannabis Law," "Child support despite regular payments," and "Divorce abroad." Multimedia Integration: The blog includes interview-style posts (e.g., "Meet the Lawyer Interview No. 1"), positioning the firm as an active participant in legal discourse.
FAQ & Social Proof
To address common concerns and reduce the barrier to contact, we implemented: FAQ Section: Provides clear answers regarding the firm's locations in Cologne and Düsseldorf and the possibility of remote consultations via video conference. Reviews Module: Showcases verified customer feedback with star ratings and specific case categories (e.g., "General legal advice," "Family law"). This section reinforces the firm's 5-star reputation based on real client outcomes.
Mobile Version
A fully responsive mobile version was delivered, ensuring that legal help is just a tap away. Optimized Navigation: The service grid transforms into a vertical stack for easy scrolling. Quick Contact: The header remains sticky with direct links to phone and email, and the language switcher (DE/RU) is easily accessible via a clean hamburger menu.
Mobile version
Excellent mobile version
We developed a fully responsive design that works equally well on tablets and smartphones of any screen size. All controls are easy to use with a finger.
We optimized image loading based on the user's device, significantly speeding up the site's performance on mobile devices.
We've implemented a special version of the tour filter for mobile devices with large controls and a simplified interface.
