Buch-Deine-Reise is a comprehensive German travel platform designed to simplify the vacation planning process. The portal aggregates thousands of offers, from all-inclusive beach holidays and last-minute deals to flights, hotels, and cruises. The project’s mission is to provide a "one-click" solution for travelers, combining a powerful search engine with rich editorial content. We focused on creating a high-performance interface that handles complex data while remaining friendly and accessible to the end user.

What has been done on the project

Homepage & Hero Section

The homepage was designed to inspire and convert immediately. We implemented a vibrant hero area with emotional imagery and a bold value proposition: "Every beach in the world with one click." Directly below the visual, we placed a multi-functional search widget. It allows users to toggle between different travel types (Pauschal, Last Minute, Hotel, Flight, etc.) without reloading the page. The clean, white-on-dark-green design ensures that the search parameters are the primary focus for the user.

Interactive Category Navigation

To help users who are "just browsing," we developed an iconic slider for travel themes. Users can quickly filter by interests such as "All Inclusive," "City Trips," or "Last Minute." Each category is represented by a custom line-art icon, making the navigation intuitive and visually engaging.

Special Offers & Deals Grid

We implemented a dynamic "Angebote" (Offers) section that showcases real-time travel deals. Each offer card is packed with essential information: Star rating and destination location. Hotel name and high-quality preview image. Key details: room type, board basis, and duration. Trust metrics: recommendation percentage and number of reviews. Prominent price tag in a high-contrast pink color to drive clicks.

Travel Blog & Content Hub

To boost SEO and provide added value, we integrated a sophisticated "Unser Blog" (Our Blog) section. Filtering System: Users can filter articles by country or topic (Hotels, Food, History, Tips). Article Cards: Each post features a thematic badge (e.g., "India | Tours"), a compelling headline, and a short teaser to encourage reading. This content hub positions the brand as a travel expert, not just a booking engine.
