Orion Travel is a German-based travel agency providing a wide range of services, from classic holiday packages and hotel bookings to specialized visa support and consular services. The platform is designed to be a reliable guide for travelers, offering both automated booking tools and expert consultancy. The project's goal was to create a multi-functional portal that balances a high-volume search engine with detailed informational sections. We focused on a clean, professional blue-and-white aesthetic that builds trust and ensures clarity across complex service categories.

What has been done on the project

Homepage & Multi-Service Search

The homepage features a dynamic hero slider with high-quality travel imagery and a welcoming value proposition: "Your reliable guide through the world of travel." Integrated into the hero section is a versatile search widget. It allows users to switch between different service types: Pauschal (Package tours), Last Minute, Hotel, Flug (Flights), Visum (Visa services). The search bar is designed for efficiency, featuring auto-complete for destinations and intuitive date/guest pickers, with a high-contrast "Suchen" (Search) button to drive action.

Service Catalog & Quick Links

Below the fold, we implemented a structured service overview. This section uses clean typography and custom icons to direct users to core business areas: Hotels: Global booking at best prices. Urlaub: Access to tours from over 90 organizers. Flugtickets: Comparison of over 728 airlines. Autovermietung: Worldwide car rental services.

Country & Travel Catalog

To assist users in the discovery phase, we developed a visual "Länder- und Reisekatalog" (Country and Travel Catalog). Visual Navigation: Destinations like Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan are presented as large, atmospheric tiles. Curated Offers: A "Wählen Sie Ihr Ziel aus" (Choose your destination) slider showcases specific hotel deals with transparent pricing (e.g., "p.P. ab 646 €"), star ratings, and recommendation percentages.

Trust & Social Proof

Building credibility was essential for a service handling visas and international travel. Reviews Module: We integrated a Google Reviews slider featuring real customer feedback, star ratings, and timestamps. Newsletter Integration: A dedicated "Immer bestens informiert" (Always well informed) block encourages user retention by offering exclusive discounts and travel tips in exchange for a newsletter signup.
